Look at the pond today. Notice how the ice spreads out on the surface and become aware that you will never see the pond quite this way again. You do not know what the seasons hold or what changes may come in your life or in the life of the pond over the coming weeks or months or years. And this is as it should be.

So look at the pond. Appreciate its unique beauty in this moment. Allow the essence of it to mingle freely with yours. Open your energies and your perceptions, your thoughts to its unique qualities and do the same with all else around you. For even as the ice grows on the pond, we trees are changing, the animals, the birds, the people around you and the earth itself are all moving and changing. Appreciate the essence of all around you in this moment, and tomorrow and for all of your tomorrows. And with this appreciation, you dance the dance of life.

We are Birch. Dance with us as you dance with the pond. Dance with the people in your life as you dance with us and you honour all life around you.
